As a Graphic Designer with the City Administrator’s Office, I worked closely with the Bay Area Women’s Summit event steering committee on event wide branding and promotional materials. The project involved creating a distinctive logo that reflected the event’s mission and values.
Through the planning and circulation phase I developed various supporting print materials including posters, bus advertisements, banners, and supplementary print materials. Each piece was thoughtfully designed to align with the summit’s themes and communicate effectively with the events donors and wider auideance.
This logo features a large, serif-style letter “W” set within a clean circular shape. Behind and subtly overlapping the letter is a simple illustration of the Golden Gate Bridge, providing the visual link to the Bay Area.
The design uses a deep blue with lighter tones for the bridge illustration to add depth without overwhelming the letter. The overall style aims for balance, readability, and a connection to the event’s local identity.
